CoxHealth Family Medicine Residency - Springfield

Welcome!

CoxHealth Family Medicine Residency is an ACGME-accredited program combining intellectual, academic excellence with the real-world experience of a community hospital – in the heart of the Ozarks. Since 1987, we’ve provided our graduates with a unique, exciting, and engaging family medicine education.

Together with our sponsoring partner, CoxHealth, we’re leading the way in physician education and development, preparing residents for the broad scope of family medicine. All our residents gain substantial experience in inpatient training and maternity care. In fact, many of our graduates are hospitalists and some are performing cesarean sections. In short, we believe residents who receive a well-rounded training will have the diverse skills they need to thrive in any practice setting.
