Our Schools

  • The Education Center - Continuing Education

    The Education Center offers programs ranging from basic life support to advanced health care certifications and licensing, as well as educational conferences and seminars covering new medical research and other health care topics.

  • Cox College

    Cox College is a private college with more than 100 years experience of educating nurses, offering associate, bachelors and masters degrees in nursing and a wide range of health care areas.

  • School of Medical Laboratory Science

    This 12-month, hospital-based program offers a certificate of completion for clinical training in medical laboratory science. You must have a B.S. in biological science or have at least 94 semester hours of college credit.

Internships & Practicums

  • Child Life Internships & Practicums

    Certified Child Life Specialists are key members of the health care team and help reduce fear, anxiety and pain for hospitalized children. We offer spring, summer and fall internships and practicums for students interested in the Child Life field.

  • Center for Addictions Internship

    The Center for Addictions offers internships for students from local universities pursuing human services degrees. If you’re studying guidance and counseling, social work, sociology, psychology, or related fields and wish to learn about treating addictive diseases, contact us.

  • Pharmacy Internships

    Our pharmacy internship program can help you gain practical work experience to supplement your pharmacy school training.

Residency Programs

  • CoxHealth Family Medicine Residency

    The CoxHealth Family Medicine Residency is an unopposed program combining intellectual, academic excellence with the real-world experience of a community hospital.

  • Pharmacy Residency

    Our PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residency programs have been reviewed and accredited since 1995. Program graduates are active leaders in the field, providing patient-centered pharmaceutical care and education.

  • Graduate Nurse Residency

    Extensive lab and classroom training, followed by monthly education sessions and the assistance of a peer mentor, clinical educator and nurse manager.

  • Clinical Pastoral Education

    CoxHealth works with the Institute for Clinical Pastoral Training to offer this clinical residency for clergy and students in the ministry profession.
