COVID-19 Information
CoxHealth's recommendation is that employers should follow all CDC guidelines regarding when employees with a COVID-19 positive test should safely return to work. Please note: CoxHealth is not recommending COVID-19 tests (PCR aka viral RNA tests) for asymptomatic individuals. If an initial viral RNA test is positive, the test should not be repeated. Studies show that viral RNA may be detected in recovered, non-infectious patients many days to weeks after symptoms resolve.
