I was born and raised in Liberty, Missouri, just north of Kansas City. I completed my undergraduate studies at Saint Louis University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in cell biology and physiology along with two minors in philosophy and health care ethics. I also met my lovely wife Payton during my junior year and we got married a week after graduation the following year. We lived in St. Louis over the next four years as I stayed at Saint Louis University for medical school.
I became interested in family medicine as I learned that I had interests in a wide range of areas in medicine. I want to take care of patients of all ages and develop meaningful, long-term relationships in an effort to care for the patient as a whole. I chose to be here at CoxHealth because I know I will receive thorough training that will prepare me for anything that comes my way in the future when I’m practicing in rural Missouri.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy hunting, fishing, sports, spending time with family and friends, and being a follower of Christ. I’m looking forward to spending the next three years in Springfield and serving my patients as best I can.
