CoxHealth contract renewals finalized
CoxHealth Network has renewed agreements with United Healthcare, Ambetter and Cerner effective January 1, 2020. The United Healthcare agreement includes all products and was renewed for a three-year term with additional one-year renewals. The Ambetter agreement is for an ACA Marketplace product and was renewed for a four-year term. CoxHealth will be participating in three ACA Marketplace products this year, Cox HealthPlans, Ambetter and the Anthem Pathway products.
Cox Branson launches 24/7 tele-ICU services
Cox Medical Center Branson has partnered with Advanced ICU Care® to provide 24/7 intensivist support for ICU patients in the hospital. Advanced ICU Care is the nation's largest provider of tele-ICU services, and will deliver monitoring by highly trained intensivist physicians and critical care specialists 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing an extra layer of care that enhances patient safety.

Community support for babies in the Cox South NICU
We always appreciate the community support we receive for our littlest patients in the NICU. Just this week, the Music Therapy of the Ozarks donated $2,000 to the CoxHealth Foundation to continue music therapy for newborns in the NICU at Cox South; and the group Wrapped With Love Quilts donated 32 quilts for families in the NICU.
Missouri Highway Patrol troopers deliver toys to hospitalized children

24 hours of note in Labor and Delivery unit
Our team from Women’s Services in Springfield reported 24 babies were born at Cox South within a 24-hour period this week. Our thanks to staff and providers who helped deliver so many babies.
