CoxHealth is bringing all of its home health services under a new name and company: CoxHealth at Home.
The change involves Oxford HealthCare, CoxHealth Home Support and Home Parenteral Services. All of these entities are currently owned by CoxHealth, and have been for many years.
Rebranding is being done in part to streamline care for patients, and make it easier for them to see which companies are connected with CoxHealth. Patients have been sent letters explaining this change, which becomes effective July 29.
“Although these companies have been owned by CoxHealth for a long time, it was difficult in some cases to immediately see the tie. That’s a challenge for patients who want to stay with CoxHealth because of insurance,” says Debbie Cain, vice president of CoxHealth at Home. “We’re excited for this development, but want to reassure patients that there won’t be any interruption or change to the care they’re currently receiving.”
