Internships, Practicums & Clinical Rotations CoxHealth Business Internship Program Program Overview & Qualifications The CoxHealth Business Internship Program allows students the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, hone their leadership skills and gain relevant experience performing business functions in a health care setting. We are seeking college or university undergraduate students in good academic standing, between their junior and senior year to work 15 to 20 hours a week for the duration of the program. Interns can adjust their schedule within working hours to meet the demands of the business. This is a paid internship program, and students may move to Level II for the next academic year. The role will act as a preview for full-time employment and presents opportunities in our leadership development program upon graduation.Job DescriptionIdentify, analyze and implement new technologies and processes.Develop, optimize, measure and maintain performance and productivity.Respond to site requirements for process improvement, facility or technology solutions.Knowledge and application of Lean Six Sigma principles and techniques.Assist with capital planning.Analyze existing key performance indicators.Design and document workflow to ensure operational effectiveness.Develop and present a capstone project that is tied to real world business activities and initiatives at CoxHealth.
