With 23 pediatricians, dedicated pediatric hospitalist care and an outstanding pediatric nursing team, children are in excellent hands here. And as one of the top three maternity hospitals in Missouri, CoxHealth is the regional leader in mother-baby care, delivering approximately 4,000 newborns per year. The Pediatric Urgent Care clinic, located in The Turner Center for Women's and Children's Health, offers convenient care to sick or injured kids when they need it most. As one of only 170 Children's Miracle Network hospitals in the nation, CoxHealth is dedicated to providing Ozarks kids with the most advanced treatments and technologies available. Our Children's Miracle Network C.A.R.E. Mobile works to ensure that all Ozarks children get the immunizations and health screenings they need. Ronald McDonald House of the Ozarks The Ronald McDonald House of the Ozarks is located across Primrose Avenue from Cox South and provides low-cost lodging for parents and siblings of children hospitalized in any of Springfield's hospitals. The National Association of Children's Hospitals and Related Institutions, founded in 1968, is a not-for-profit, membership organization of 215 children's hospitals committed to excellence in providing health care to children. NACHRI works to ensure all children's access to health care and the continuing ability of children's hospitals to provide services needed by children.
