CoxHealth can trace its roots to this Jefferson Avenue address, and the frame house that stood here in 1906, originally Burge Hospital. Today, Cox North is a thriving hospital with a new technology, a growing medical staff, a 24/7 Emergency Department, occupational therapy, a full-service occupational medicine clinic and much more. Our physician residency program, CoxHealth Family Medicine Residency, is based here, as is Cox College, our private college offering degrees and certificates in nursing and other health care-related fields.
