What is CoxWorks?
CoxWorks serves as a digital institutional repository (IR), managed and maintained by CoxHealth Library Services. Institutional repositories (IR) are commonplace at most colleges and universities, and preserve the scholarly work of the institutions’ employees, faculty and students. An IR complements initiatives and programs such as Magnet, Cox residency programs, Cox College graduate programs, and future academic developments.
The collection is openly available online by visiting CoxWorks. A direct link to the collection is available on the Library Services' Intranet Site. Users may search for works in OneSearch@ CoxHealth Library, or by searching the online catalog. These works are not generally accessible by searching with a web browser.
Who may submit works?
The primary goal of the IR is to preserve original scholarly works created by employees, physicians, residents and Cox College students as a result of professional activities while employed by CoxHealth, or during attendance at Cox College. CoxWorks also retains original scholarly works by outside students and affiliates who conduct original research at CoxHealth.
