Job Description
CoxHealth has Neurohospitalist opportunities with our well-established Neurology team in vibrant Springfield, Missouri. Candidates may be trained in vascular neurology, general neurology or any neurology sub-specialty.
Position highlights:
- Join our busy group of 8 neurologists
- 7 on, 7 off schedule
- Available opportunities include a day shift position (7 a.m.-7 p.m.) or nocturnist position (7 p.m.-7 a.m.)
- Cover one hospital, Cox Medical Center South, a 646-bed Level 1 Stroke Center
- Take part in onsite stroke coverage and telestroke services
- Well-trained support staff, including APPs and RN Stroke Navigators
Our Neuroscience Program:
- The region's only Comprehensive Stroke Center certified by DNV Healthcare
- Our nationally recognized stroke neurology team has met the standards of “Stroke Gold Plus Status” from the AHA/ASA
- The region’s largest group of board-certified neurologists for office-based care, practicing at the Jared Neuroscience Center inside Cox Medical Center South
