Trey Hufham, MD

I am from Rogersville, MO. I went to Drury University for my undergraduate education, where I met my lovely wife, Kayla. We got married just after graduating from Drury and moved to St. Louis for medical school at Saint Louis University. It was during medical school that I fell in love with family medicine and its breadth, complexity, flexibility, and most importantly the strong relationship with the patient. I would love to someday practice full-spectrum family medicine in a small community.

We chose CoxHealth Family Medicine Residency after so many wonderful interactions with the residents, staff, and faculty. The training and environment provides just what we are looking for to help us develop into the best physicians we can be. We are ecstatic to be back in Southwest Missouri and to have the opportunity to both serve and learn from the communities that formed us.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, eating, being outside, eating, playing board games, and did I mention eating? I am also excited to get back to horseback riding and kayaking in the beautiful Ozarks.
