Jennifer Kaberline, MD

Hi! I am from Lees Summit, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City. I followed in my parents’ footsteps and went to the University of Kansas for my undergraduate studies, graduating with a degree in biology with an emphasis in genetics. During these studies, I realized my love for the medical field. I then followed suit and got my MD from University of Kansas School of Medicine, completing my non-clinical years in Kansas City and my clinical years in Wichita.

I chose family medicine because it provides the opportunity to care for people of all ages, and to build lifelong relationships with patients. Family medicine also keeps you on your toes with a variety of different conditions. My interests include care of the underserved, addiction medicine and women’s health. My interactions with the faculty and residents on interview day really drew me to this program. I am excited to begin my journey in this field here at CoxHealth Family Medicine Residency with some great co-residents!

In my free time you will find me with my family or outdoors. I love to hike, especially at Rocky Mountain National Park, a place I hold close to my heart. I also enjoy riding my bike and going on long walks with my rescue beagle, Cooper. Playing soccer for most of my childhood, I have a love for the US national teams and Sporting Kansas City – my hometown team.
