Opportunity description:

CoxHealth, a large integrated health system in Springfield, Mo., is seeking a BC or BE neonatologist to join a hospital-based practice beginning in the summer of 2019.

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team, which provides excellence in neonatal care. Located in the Dee Ann White Women’s and Children’s Hospital, the modern, Level 3 NICU has single-patient rooms with a 30-plus patient capacity equipped and arranged for family-oriented care. 

Currently, the unit is staffed by five neonatologists and two neonatal nurse practitioners with 24/7 in-house coverage. Intensive care includes high-frequency ventilation, iNO and total body cooling. Both air and dedicated ground neonatal transport services are available. This regional referral center, with maternal-fetal medicine services, has over 3,500 deliveries and nearly 500 NICU admissions per year. Multiple pediatric subspecialties providing consultative support include cardiology, neurology, anesthesiology, endocrinology and gastroenterology.
