Refund & Cancellation Policy
Education Center Course Cancellation Policy
Education Center courses will be cancelled if the public school system nearest the course location has closed due to inclement weather conditions. For each course location:
- Courses held in Springfield will be cancelled if Springfield Public Schools have closed due to inclement weather.
- Courses held in Branson/Hollister will be cancelled if Branson Public School AND/OR Hollister Public School have been closed due to inclement weather.
- Monett courses will be cancelled if Monett School District has been closed due to inclement weather.
Determination of cancellation of courses that are in progress (i.e., course has started and weather conditions have become unfavorable) will be based off local school closures at the course’s location. Participants are advised to check local media for school closures. Participants will receive confirmation of course cancellation via telephone prior to the start of the course.
Life Support and Specialty Courses Refund Policy
Cancellations prior to the day of the course will be entitled to a full refund, less Eventbrite’s fees. Eventbrite registration fees are nonrefundable and vary with each course.
No refunds will be made after the course begins.
In the event the Education Center cancels or reschedules a course, participants are entitled to a full refund or the participant may transfer registration to the next scheduled activity.
Refunds will be credited to the same credit card in which the payment was received. If the payment was made in cash or check, the refund will be provided within 4 to 6 weeks in the form of a check and mailed to the address obtained at the time of registration.
All cancellations/refund requests must be received in writing via email educationcenter@coxhealth.com or by calling the Education Center at 417-269-4117. Cancellation requests submitted via Eventbrite are also acceptable. Per CoxHealth policy, if employees do not give proper notice of cancellation of a course, they will be recorded as a no-call/no-show.
Conferences and Certification Prep Courses Refund Policy
Cancellations received by the date indicated on the program webpage will be entitled to a full refund, less Eventbrite’s fees. Eventbrite registration fees are nonrefundable and vary with each course.
After the date indicated on the program webpage as the final day for full refunds, a $25.00 processing fee will be withheld.
No refunds will be made for cancellations received the day of the activity.
Refunds will be credited back to the same credit card in which the payment was received. If the payment was made in cash or check, the refund will be provided within 4-6 weeks in the form of a check and mailed to the address obtained at the time of registration.
In the event Education Center cancels or reschedules a course, participants are entitled to a full refund or the participant may transfer registration to the next scheduled activity.
CoxHealth is not responsible for travel, hotel, booking fees, or other cancellation fees for registrants when a program is cancelled.
All refunds must be received in writing via email or by calling the Education Center.
Payment
The Education Center accepts the following forms of payment:
- Debit and credit: Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover
- Checks: Please make checks payable to CoxHealth
- Cash: Cash payments made in person only please
- Other: CoxHealth Payroll Deduction and General Ledger (GL) Transfer (employees only)
