BLS Providers Course

Course Description

This seated classroom course is for students seeking certification in basic healthcare life support skills, initial or renewal. The course is four to four and a half hours long, depending on the size of the class.

Certification Information

Participants who successfully complete this course will receive an American Heart Association certification in several categories:

- One-rescuer and rescuer adult, child and infant CPR
- Choking management of the conscious and unconscious
- Mouth-to-mouth ventilation
- Bag-valve-mask ventilation
- Automated External Defibrillator training

Certifications are valid for two years.

Course Policy

- Do not be late to class. You will not be permitted to enter if you are late.
- Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early.
- Once the door is shut, you are not allowed entry, as this would hold up the class and make other students late in leaving.
- Class starts at the time stated.

Student Rate: $60.00

Fee includes BLS Providers Student Manual and certification eCard

Testing

Tests are comprised of written exam (25 questions) which must be passed with an 84%. One-on-one skills testing is also required.
