Job Summary
A Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing their health needs, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, educating patients about their conditions, coordinating care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes. CoxHealth has positions available in multiple In Patient units from Full time, Part Time or PRN including Day and Night shift. A Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the care of patient experiencing general medical conditions or general surgical procedures. The nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records and provide patients and families with support and education. The Medical-Surgical nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.
Job Requirements
Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Experience
Preferred: Previous nursing experience

Licensure/Certification/Registration
Required: RN license active in the state of Missouri
Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days
