Job Summary
  • The JNC Imaging nurse is involved with the assessment, planning, and care of patients who undergo diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The nurse works closely with the assigned physician and technologists to provide direct care to patients, before, during, and after radiology/procedural pain procedures. The nurse is skilled with peripheral intravenous catheter insertion and responsible for administering medications and providing post procedure education. Wearing lead protective gear and a radiation dosimeter is required in some procedural areas.
Job Requirements
  • Education
    • Required: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
    • Preferred: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
  • Experience
    • Required: 6 months of prior experience as a Registered Nurse, or prior experience as a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse in an outpatient or ambulatory clinic setting.

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration
    • Required: RN license active with the State of Missouri
    • Required: BLS obtained within first 90 days of hire
    • Required: ACLS obtained within 1 year of hire
