Job Summary
  • Float nurse duties include assessing, planning, evaluating and implementing patient care in accordance with accepted standards of practice and organizational policy, administering medications and treatments, performing documentation and providing education to patients and families. Float Pool Nurses are assigned throughout the Critical Access Hospital Group and have varying schedules and unit assignments. The float nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients.

  • Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

  • Up to 80 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off

  • Up to $3,000 Relocation bonus

  • $1.00 Certification pay

  • $1.00 BSN pay

  • Career Ladder up to $5,000

Job Requirements
  • Education
    • Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
    • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Experience
    • Preferred: Previous nursing experience
  • Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrate effective leadership abilities
    • Exhibits valuable time management skills
    • Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration
    • Required: RN license active in the state of Missouri
    • Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days
    • Must obtain PALS within one year of hire
    • Must obtain ACLS within one year of hire
