  • Job Summary
    • The Plumber is responsible for proficient maintenance related to HVAC and mechanical systems, electrical and plumbing, life safety inspections, patient bed evaluation, cosmetic repairs of interior finishes and hardware. Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems. Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specification, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe-threading equipment. Responds to work requests timely and professionally and is able to complete work assignments pertaining to general behaviors.The Plumber may be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary and approved by the Supervisor.
  • Job Requirements
    • Education
      • Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
      • Preferred: Trade School in the mechanical fields
    • Experience
      • Required: 3-5 years related plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical experience
    • Skills
      • Proficient skills necessary to find solutions to equipment malfunctions and initiate necessary repairs.
      • Proficient knowledge of the safe operation of all tools used in the performance of duties.
      • Proficient knowledge of regulatory requirements governing fire alarm systems, HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems and building repairs.
      • Proficient knowledge in the use of hand tools, plumbing tools and equipment, and large machinery.
    • Licensure/Certification/Registration
      • Required: Active Driver's License
      • Preferred:Some form of MEP Certification from an accredited trade school. Such examples include but are not limited to Vatterott College and Ozarks Technical Community College
      • Preferred: Welding of any kind, City Journeyman License, or Master Plumber License
