Job Summary

Staff pharmacists process/verify orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information. Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.

Job Requirements

  • Education
    • Required: Bachelors in Pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
    • Preferred: Doctorate of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency
  • Experience
    • Required: No Prior Experience Required
    • Preferred: 2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency training
  • Skills
    • None specified
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration
    • Required: Registered with Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist
    • **Eligibility for licensure requires submission of application for Pharmacy License at time of hire**
    • Medication Therapy Services Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
