Job Summary
  • The Payroll Coordinator is a centralized role which is responsible for accurately entering and maintaining employee schedules and payroll data to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.? This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and will work with nurse leaders to ensure that pay codes and differentials are applied according to organizational policy.? This role will support unit nurse leaders to ensure accurate schedules, roles, and, pay differentials are entered.? This role will support multiple departments within inpatient nursing.? Provide reports and data mining as assigned on department specific benchmarks.
Job Requirements
  • Education
    • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred: Associates Degree in an accounting, finance, or related healthcare field
  • Experience
    • Required: 1 year experience in the clerical field or payroll/scheduling/timekeeping role
  • Skills
    • Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, knowledge and typing skills
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot payroll and scheduling issues
