Job Summary
  • The Patient Experience Liaison I reports to the Patient Experience Manager and provides initial assistance and support to patients and families. This role involves documenting patient concerns and complaints accurately, escalating issues and grievances to higher-level patient Liaisons and grievance management experts as necessary, and participating in training activities to improve patient advocacy and customer service skills. The Patient Liaison I also assists with administrative tasks within the patient experience team and handles routine or straightforward tasks under close supervision

Job Requirements
  • Education
    • Required: High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in healthcare administration or related field is a plus.

  • Experience
    • Preferred: Previous experience in patient experience management, quality improvement, or healthcare administration.
  • Skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
    • Empathy and patience in dealing with patients and families
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations
