PA or NP for Urgent Care - PRN

Job Description

  • Job Summary
    • Under the supervision of a Physician, the Physician’s Assistant examines pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in an Urgent Care setting to obtain information about their physical condition. The PA diagnoses and manages treatment of patients including ordering medication and diagnostic procedures such as X-rays and laboratory tests. The PA interprets the diagnostic test results, educate patients, and refers follow up care as needed.

    • Skills
      • Self motivated individual who can work with little direct supervision
      • Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams; tolerance for working with multiple numbers of people
      • Good clinical expertise, communication skills, human relations skills and organizational skills
      • Proficient computer skills
    • Licensure/Certification/Registration
      • Missouri Nurse Practitioner License
      • BLS obtain within first 90 days of hire
