Hyperbaric Tech I
Job Summary
Under continuous on-site supervision of a provider and/or registered nurse, performs only delegated, selected, or routine tasks in specific situations. These duties include preparing/cleaning and maintenance of the treatment area and equipment, hands on patient care involving removing and applying dressings, wound cleansing and evaluation, and communication and collaboration with the other technicians, nurses, and providers to manage the patient’s wound care. The wound care therapy tech may also transfer and transport hyperbaric patients and prepare them for hyperbaric therapy.

- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience
- Preferred: Previous experience in the medical field

- Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire
Hyperbaric Tech II
Job Summary- The Hyperbaric Medicine Wound Care technician works in collaboration with Nurse and Provider staff to provide wound care and safe operation of the Hyperbaric Chambers. These duties include preparing/cleaning and maintenance of the treatment area and equipment, hands on patient care involving removing and applying dressings, wound cleansing and evaluation, and communication and collaboration with the other technicians, nurses, and providers to manage the patient’s wound care. Hyperbaric medicine duties include preparing the patient for hyperbaric treatment, monitoring patient during treatment including operating the hyperbaric chamber, maintaining a safe treatment environment, and communicating and collaborating with the hyperbaric nurse and physician to best care for the patient. Applicant may be asked to attend Hyperbaric Chamber Operation Education. This is a fast paced environment that requires an energetic team oriented individual.

Education
- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Required: Completion of an accredited healthcare related program AND Must be a licensed CHT, EMT, or LPN. CHT must be obtained within two years of hire

Experience
- Required: 1 year experience in a direct patient care in hospital, clinic or Prehospital environment
- Preferred: 1 year Experience in Hyperbaric Medicine or Wound Clinic
