Job Summary
  • The Engineering Expediter position provides accounting support to the Engineering Department and Construction Management teams. Reviews and processes daily supply orders and issues Engineering Purchase Order Numbers for facility Purchase Services. This position tracks expense cost, correlates monthly budget reports and maintains the daily spending check register on the expense accounts. The Expediter operates multiple software applications to support the department’s daily needs.
Job Requirements
  • Education
    • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Preferred: Associates in Accounting or like field
  • Experience
    • Required: At least 1 year of Accounting or related experience
    • Preferred: Two or more years of Accounting or related experience
  • Skills
    • Basic software and computer experience and knowledge
    • Basic Accounting experience
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize work with good organizational skills
    • Ability to listen well and identify pertinent information for daily task
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration
    • N/A
