Job Summary
  • Responsible for procuring medical supplies and equipment for the Medical Centers in the correct hospital setting. Buy merchandise or commodities, in the correct hospital setting, including both durable and nondurable goods. Analyze past buying trends, sales records, price, and quality of merchandise to determine value and yield. Select, order, and authorize payment for merchandise according to contractual agreements. May conduct meetings with sales personnel and introduce new products. Conducts financial analysis as needed.
Job Requirements
  • Education
    • Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Preferred: Bachelors in a Related Field
  • Experience
    • Required: 1-2 years related experience
  • Skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
    • Self starter.
    • Proficient in using computers and computer systems, to include word, excel Previous Lawson experience preferred
