- This pharmacist position is responsible for patient care activities including clinical pharmacy services to patients receiving ambulatory care services at CoxHealth. The practice location will be focused on outpatient care areas. Additional responsibilities and teaching experiences will vary based on the position outline below as well as involvement in special projects. The individual must display maturity, independence, initiative, and strong communication skills. In addition, individuals will exemplify the CoxHealth mission, vision, and values and act in accordance with CoxHealth policies and procedures

Education
- Required: Graduation from an ACPE Accredited School of Pharmacy with Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Preferred: Completion of a minimum of one year of pharmacy residency training Preferred: Completion of a second-year specialty residency in ambulatory care.

Experience
- Required: 3 years of pharmacy experience in the ambulatory or community setting OR 1 year pharmacy residency Preferred: Ambulatory or community pharmacy experience

- Proficiency with direct patient care
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with other disciplines

Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Required: Missouri Pharmacist license or eligible for licensure. Required: MTM/MTS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire Preferred: Certification in relevant area of practice within 4 years of starting the position Required: BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
