Job Summary
  • The part-time affiliate faculty member will implement suitable teaching strategies designed to complement classroom theory, enhance student learning, stimulate class discussions and encourage active learning and critical analysis of varied aspects of professional nursing. Part-time faculty will be responsible for the effective delivery of clinical experiences, maintaining proper class-related records with prompt assessment of student performance and assessment. Each part-time faculty member is considered a member of the professional teaching staff and thereby responsible for the implementation of the mission of the individual nursing schools they are supporting. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to communicate with a diverse population of learners.

Job Requirements
  • Education
    • Required: Bachelors of Science in Nursing Preferred: Masters of Science in Nursing
  • Experience
    • Required: At least 2 years previous nursing experience Current clinical nursing practice in hospital setting
