Ozarks Dialysis in Monett receives 5-Star rating from CMS

Ozarks Dialysis in Monett has received a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The rating is based on quality data and patient health outcomes.

CMS implemented a five-star rating system to evaluate the quality of care provided by dialysis centers in an effort to provide patients, their families, and their caregivers the ability to compare and decide where they would prefer to receive dialysis treatments.

"CMS has concluded through testing and research that consumers utilize compare sites (such as Dialysis Facility Compare) to help them make informed decisions about where to access quality care,” said Steven Stovall, director of Ozarks Dialysis Services. “I am proud of our staff because this five-star rating reinforces the fact that they are delivering the best dialysis care in our area.”

Ozarks Dialysis Services operates three dialysis centers—two in Springfield (including a home dialysis service) and the facility in Monett.

Ozarks Dialysis in Monett, located at 825 Hwy. 60, Suite B, previously earned the prestigious five-star ranking in 2013 and 2015.

A celebration is being planned for staff in September.
