Medical Mile 5K run/walk goes virtual

In light of concerns with COVID-19, the 29th annual Medical Mile and 5K run/walk is going virtual.

Instead of an in-person race, participants may run or walk at their convenience between June 6 and 20. The annual event raises funds for young patients and their families throughout the Ozarks through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at CoxHealth.

Each entry will receive a "hero" event T-shirt, finisher medal and special gift once the event is complete. Gather a team of eight or more and the largest team will win an additional thank-you gift. A virtual competition will also be included for those who want to submit their times for a "virtual" place.

The cost is $25 and participants can register on Active.com (search CoxHealth Medical Mile, and no service fee is charged), or by completing a paper registration form, which may be mailed to the CMN Hospitals office (address in registration information).
