U.S. News & World Report ranks CoxHealth hospitals Best Regional Hospitals in state, region

CoxHealth hospitals in Springfield, Branson, Monett and Barton County have been named as a Best Regional Hospital in southwest Missouri by U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals rankings. In addition Springfield hospitals ranked No. 9 in Missouri and High Performing in four adult procedures/conditions: Heart failure, knee replacement, COPD, Colon cancer surgery. Cox Branson ranked High Performing in two adult procedures/conditions: COPD and heart failure.

CoxHealth recognized among nation’s top hospitals in treatment of heart attack

Cox South and Cox Branson have received the American College of Cardiology’s NCDR Chest Pain ̶ MIRegistry Silver Performance Achievement Award for 2019. They are two of only 86 hospitals nationwide to receive the honor.

CoxHealth physician receives state honor for leadership

The Missouri Emergency Medical Services Association has named CoxHealth emergency room physician and EMS medical director Dr. Matthew Brandt as the Missouri EMS Medical Director of the Year. Dr. Brandt also serves as the EMS program director for Ozarks Technical Community College.

Back to school drives at CoxHealth

CoxHealth held back-to-school drives at our hospital campuses in July, collecting backpacks and school supplies to donate to schools in the region. In August, our charity spotlight is on veterans and community and CoxHealth resources that support them.

CoxHealth partners with fire department for training

The Springfield Fire Department will be conducting a training exercise in the Medical Tower on the Cox North Hospital campus on Saturday. We are happy to host this important training for our local firefighters.
