Cox Monett has been recognized as one of the nation’s top 150 Best Places to Work in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare. The recognition program honors workplaces throughout the healthcare industry that empower employees to provide patients and customers with the best possible care, products and services. The 2018 list of recognized companies was published this week.

Cox Monett is the only critical access hospital in Missouri selected for this award, and one of only two hospitals in Missouri to be named to this prestigious list.

This award program identifies and recognizes outstanding employers in the healthcare industry nationwide. Modern Healthcare partners with the Best Companies Group on the assessment process, which includes an extensive employee survey.

Cox Monett was selected for this national recognition based on elements such as competitive employee benefits, employee satisfaction and innovative organizational culture.

The hospital employs over 350 employees and 29 physicians.

Modern Healthcare will publish a special supplement featuring ranked lists of all the winners along with the October 1 issue. Cox Monett will be honored at the 2018 Best Places to Work in Healthcare awards gala on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Renaissance Dallas.
