Cox Monett Advisory Board elects new officers

February 2, 2023 Monett

New officers were elected at the Jan. 26 quarterly meeting of Cox Monett Hospital’s Community Advisory Board.

Jack Williams, a member of the board since 2018, and president of Monett-based WinTech Corporation, was elected to serve a one-year term as president.

"We are thrilled Jack accepted the role as president of Cox Monett’s Advisory Board," says Andrea McKay, president of Cox Monett. "As a strong, well-respected member of our community, Jack understands what it takes to build a culture of excellence, so our patients receive our absolute best, every day, every time."

Williams succeeds Nicole (Niki) Weber, who has served as president since January 2021.

"We are so appreciative of Niki’s leadership efforts; she brought forth many fresh ideas for the board to get more involved in our staff recognition activities, which was really well-received,” says McKay.

In addition to Williams, Joel Thomas of Jack Henry & Associates was elected to serve as vice president, and Lou Ellen Honeycutt was re-elected as secretary for the 2023–2024 year.

"The hospital’s advisory board is a crucial component in connecting and engaging with our community," says McKay. "We value their expertise and visionary guidance so Cox Monett can continue to be the health care leader of choice in Barry and Lawrence counties."

Additional members of the community serving on the hospital’s advisory board include Rod Anderson, Donna Beckett, Rusty Bowsher, Helen Cha, Steve Dodson, Dr. Mark Drake, Dennis Flattem, Chris Fuldner, Judge Mike Garrett, Dr. Megan Carter, Yesy Perez, Pete Rauch, Maura Sparks, Judge J. Edward Sweeney, Jay Triplett, Sonia Valenciano, and Barbara White.
