Cox College launches BSN Fast Track program

Starting in January 2023, Cox College will launch the BSN Fast Track program for those wanting to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in a shorter amount of time. Cox College is the first in the region to offer a fast track nursing program like this.

This innovative track allows students to earn a BSN in as quickly as three years, no prior bachelor’s degree is required. Cox College is currently accepting applications for the January 2023 semester through September 1.

“We hope this program will get students who are passionate and eager about nursing to get into that career even faster. The past few years have been challenging for nurses, and this program will provide more staff at a faster rate to our area hospitals,” says Dr. Amy Townsend, VP of nursing at Cox College.

This program was created to fill a nursing shortage that was made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic. Those interested in the program will need to have completed general education requirements before beginning the nursing program.
