Changes for CoxHealth events

In an effort to keep patients, staff and our communities safe, CoxHealth needs to inform you that there will be some changes to public gatherings and events scheduled on CoxHealth’s campuses in the coming weeks.

Starting Monday, March 16, the majority of events scheduled at CoxHealth facilities will be cancelled or postponed. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • All classes through The Women’s Center
  • The Baby Affair and NICU reunion
  • Classes at the Center for Health Improvement

CoxHealth is taking a proactive approach to social distancing. Changes are being implemented to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 under guidance from the Springfield-Greene County Health Department, which has asked that events of 250 people or more be cancelled or postponed.

Additionally, we are also asking that all non-essential meetings throughout the system be either done by phone or WebEx.
