Music Program Music helps improve blood pressure, manage stress, alleviate pain, and improve overall mood. Musicians on Call and Music Pharmacy provide patients and their families with music to promote positivity and healing and noise-canceling headphones. Notary Service This service is only for health care related documents, such as advance directives and durable power of attorney for health care. Pastoral Care Chaplains are available for spiritual counseling and support. Ask your nurse or contact the Pastoral Care department. Cox Medical Center South has a chapel that is always open on the first floor by the north entrance and a second on the ground floor by the Emergency Department. Pet Therapy A dog and their handler will visit your hospital room. They'll help provide comfort and enjoyment as you cope with health problems. Call Volunteer Services or tell your nurse if you want pet therapy. It may take 24 hours to fulfill your request.
