Job Description
CoxHealth seeks a BE/BC Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join our experienced team at the Regional Perinatal Center in vibrant Springfield, Missouri. This well-established practice has served our community for more than 30 years. At CoxHealth, you can be part of a team that has set the bar in obstetrics, gynecology, and maternal-fetal medicine.
Position highlights:
- Join our collegial team of two MFM physicians and two NPs
- Weekday schedule, 1:3 call
- Consult only, with referrals from OBGYNs throughout our health system
- Large patient base includes 30 counties throughout southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas
- The clinic is conveniently located in an outpatient building attached to the hospital, Cox Medical Center South
- Cox South, a 706-bed facility, has been affiliated with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1986
- The hospital includes a Level IV Maternity Center with full-time, in-house OB Laborist coverage by BC/BE OBGYNs
- It also has a 28-bed Level III NICU staffed by a team of 6 Neonatologists and 6 NNPs, with 24/7 in-house coverage
- The Cox Air Care program and the Children’s Ambulance provide newborn emergency transports
- This highly developed regional referral center delivers over 3,500 babies each year
- Optional teaching opportunities with medical students and residents
