Virtual Visits Basic Care is available to anyone located in the state of Missouri with an acute illness, ages two years and older. (Note: some conditions may require children to be older than two. This is determined at the discretion of the provider.)

What are the hours of operation for Virtual Visits Basic Care?
Friday, 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Will my primary care physician (PCP) have access to the information from my visit?
Yes, if your PCP is a CoxHealth provider, then he or she will have access to the information from your visit. If your PCP is not employed by CoxHealth, simply ask us to send your visit information to your PCP.
Who is eligible to receive services through Virtual Visits Occupational Medicine?
Virtual Visits Occupational Medicine is available to injured employees working for companies contracted to receive Virtual Visit services.

Virtual Visits Occupational Medicine is staffed by CoxHealth providers specializing in Occupational Medicine.
What are the hours of operation for Virtual Visits Occupational Medicine?
Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
In the event of an emergency, can I use Virtual services to treat those injuries?
Virtual services are offered for non-emergent illnesses and work injuries. If there is an emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
How do I request a visit via CoxHealth Virtual Visits services?
After I complete my request for a visit, if I'm having trouble connecting, what should I do?

Are you having trouble joining?
When you click "Click here to continue", the system automatically connects to Vidyo. Open this link through your app, NOT your browser, when it prompts you to choose.
Is your phone having trouble with your credit/debit card payment?
There's a common issue with mobile devices in which some credit and debit card payments are not submitting successfully. Try using a computer or another device to submit your payment or call our navigators.
Are you using a work computer?
Some employers have firewalls and protections in their networks that prevent employees from downloading Vidyo or connecting to video conferencing software. If you're using your work computer and have trouble connecting, try using a personal device that is not connected to your workplace wifi. For example, use your phone, but turn off your wifi and use your device's data plan.
Are you driving?
We ask that if you are in a vehicle that you stay parked for the duration of the visit. This is both for your safety and to protect the video quality in order to allow our providers to best help you.
What happens if I become disconnected from the call at any point?
Can I use my smartphone or laptop for my Virtual Visit?
Yes. On your mobile device or computer you can download the Vidyo application by following these easy steps:

- Once Vidyo is installed, you can request your visit.

What if I'm having technical difficulties and I can't see or hear my provider?
Will the provider have access to my records?
If you've ever been treated at CoxHealth, your provider will be able to access your medical record. If you haven't been treated at CoxHealth before, we will start a chart for you, do review of your current allergies and medications, and conduct a short medical history.
Will I be charged if the provider is unable to treat me?
If a connection is made with your provider, patients will be charged for the visit. Please refer to the list of conditions and illnesses treated for questions.
Can I get prescriptions through this service?
If the provider determines that a prescription is necessary for your treatment they can call a prescription into your preferred pharmacy. This service does not prescribe pain medications.
How will I pay my co-pay?
We accept all major credit cards except American Express. This includes HSA, HRA and FSA cards.
Can more than one person in a household receive care?
Yes, just submit individual requests for each person who needs to be seen.
I can't find my plan code. What do I need to do?
Why am I required to be in the state of Missouri at the time of my visit?
Our providers are licensed
to treat patients within the state of Missouri, and laws regarding
virtual health care services vary from state to state. As legislation changes we plan to expand into other regions.
Can my minor child be treated via Virtual Visits?
Yes, depending on the age of your child and the nature of his or her illness. A parent or legal guardian will be required to participate in the visit with a minor child.
