International candidate requirements
As an international GNR candidate, you must complete your nursing ASN or BSN program in the U.S. You must also have a full year of Optional Practical Training work authorization (EAD card) and will need to pass the NCLEX within 90 days of graduation.
Overview of the immigration process
- CoxHealth will file your I-140 with premium processing, which guarantees a response within 15 days rather than the typical months-long process.
- CoxHealth will file your I-485 after receiving the I-140 approval. Retrogression may affect how quickly we can file the I-485.
- Complete your biometrics appointment, if requested.
- Get your green card.
