Job Description
CoxHealth is seeking Emergency Medicine physicians to join our teams in Springfield, Branson, and Monett. Physicians play a direct role in shaping clinical operations, staffing models, and patient care strategies through a collaborative, physician-led leadership structure. CoxHealth serves over 400,000 people in the Springfield metro area as well as smaller communities in the region and serves as a regional tertiary referral center. Whether you prefer practicing at a Level I Trauma Center, a community emergency department, or a modern critical access hospital, CoxHealth offers multiple practice environments supported by strong specialty coverage and system resources. Outside the hospital, the Ozarks provide unmatched access to lakes, hiking, boating, world-class golf courses, and outdoor recreation, along with a welcoming community and family-friendly lifestyle with a low cost of living.
$100,000 Sign-On bonus
Site Details
- 44,000 annual visits
- Moderate acuity community ED
- 54 hours physician coverage / 30 hours APP daily
- Strong specialty and hospitalist support
- Level I Trauma Center (Cox South) 40 minutes away
Compensation
- 1600 hours per year
- Approximate income $430K
- Quality and Engagement bonus up to $30K
- Additional shift bonus $1,500 per shift
