Lauren Branham, DO, MBA

I was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri and am a Tiger through and through! I attended the University of Missouri and received my Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, but more importantly, made lifelong friends and memories as a member of the Golden Girls dance team and Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. I decided to move to Kansas City for medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences, and completed a one-year fellowship in OMT (Osteopathic Manipulative Techniques). During medical school, I adopted two cats (Simon & Max), a dog (Stanley), and my husband, Nathan. We now are blessed to be the parents of a darling daughter named Minnie Mae!

We just moved our family and petting zoo to Ozark and have loved our time and dining experiences here so far (especially Lambert’s!). In my free time, I love to spend time with my family, friends and animals, attend Mizzou sporting events, travel abroad, and get outside to be active. Now that I have a newborn, I find myself spending a lot of time just in awe of her! We look forward to getting involved with our church community, too. 

CoxHealth Family Medicine Residency was an easy choice for me – the bonds that residents share with each other and leadership are unparalleled. I knew I would be able to grow in not only my career, but also as a person by working for CoxHealth FMR. Someday I hope to teach medical students and residents full-scope family medicine in addition to caring for my patients. I have special interests in obstetrics and pediatrics, and would love to build my practice to include mostly women and children.
