Preventing Type 2 Diabetes

One out of three adults in America has prediabetes — and over 80% don't know it. Join us for an information session about PreventT2, a free, year-long program to help people with risk factors prevent Type 2 Diabetes.

This year-long program includes:

  • Skills to prevent Type 2 Diabetes, including losing weight, increasing physical activity, and managing stress.
  • Guidance and encouragement from a trained lifestyle coach.
  • Support from people who share similar goals.
  • PreventT2 is offered through a collaboration between the University of Missouri Extension and Cox Monett Hospital, and is part of the National Diabetes Prevention Program, led by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
