Why we built this

CoxHealth launched the Digital Communities Group in 2025. It's a convenient way for patients, family members, and caregivers to share feedback about their care experiences through surveys, discussion boards, polls, virtual activities, and more. This feedback helps us gather timely, diverse perspectives from across our health system, test new ideas, and make informed decisions that improve care and the patient experience.

Our goal

We're building a broad, diverse community of patients, family members, and caregivers who reflect the populations we serve. We want participation to grow over time, so feedback reflects a wide range of experiences and perspectives. Current and former patients, family members, caregivers, and community members are all welcome. Join us in improving health care at CoxHealth by sharing your story.

Who can join

Be at least 18 years old.
Have experience as a patient, family member, or caregiver within our health system.
Be willing to give honest, respectful feedback.
Have access to email or the internet for online activities.
Want to help improve the patient and family experience at CoxHealth.

What members do

Take part voluntarily in surveys, polls, discussion boards, and other feedback activities.
Share honest experiences and perspectives.
Offer constructive recommendations to help improve care and services.
Respect the privacy and opinions of other participants.
Choose the opportunities that fit their interests and schedule.

How this connects to our Patient and Family Advisory Council

The Digital Communities Group works alongside our Patient and Family Advisory Council. It offers a flexible way for more patients and families to get involved. Council membership is limited, but Digital Communities welcomes broader participation. It also helps us find people who may want to join a committee or advisory council later on.
