CoxHealth has been named one of “America’s Greatest Workplaces” and one of “America’s Greatest Workplaces in Health Care” for 2025 by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group.

CoxHealth achieved a 4.5-star rating out of a possible five stars based on a large-scale employer study, including topics such as compensation and benefits, training and career progression, work-life balance and company culture.

“Being named one of ‘America’s Greatest Workplaces’ by Newsweek is a tremendous honor and a direct reflection of the incredible people who make up CoxHealth,” says Andy Hedgpeth, vice president of human resources at CoxHealth. “Our employees are the foundation of our mission to improve the health of the communities we serve, and this recognition affirms the culture of support, respect and excellence we’ve worked hard to build together.”

CoxHealth offers several programs focused on supporting employees in the workplace, including employee recognition initiatives, workforce development programs, student loan repayment, tuition reimbursement and assistance and apprenticeships for certain positions.

This is the third year in a row CoxHealth has received the overall “America’s Greatest Workplaces” recognition.

The “America’s Greatest Workplaces” 2025 study by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group recognizes the greatest workplaces in the United States in financial services, health care, manufacturing, professional services and technology.

It incorporated more than 400,000 employee interviews in the U.S. and collected more than 4.9 million comprehensive company reviews.
