Investing in the next generation of rural health care

Cox Monett and Cox Barton award scholarships to local students
During halftime of the Lamar vs. Monett High School football game, two students from each school were awarded $1,000 scholarships to pursue careers in health care.ย
These scholarships were made possible by the generosity of physicians at Cox Monett Hospital and Cox Barton County Hospital, and they were matched dollar-for-dollar by the CoxHealth Foundation, effectively doubling the impact.
The two award-winning CoxHealth critical access hospitals, located in Monett and Lamar, are proud to support the next generation of health care professionals.ย
