A little potassium and a lot of gratitude

Andrea's small gestures make a big impact on her team

Nurse Manager Andrea has an incredible ability to sense when her team needs a boost.ย

On the hospital's medical unit, both day and night shifts, she surprised her staff with bananas to celebrate "๐™๐™๐™–๐™ฃ๐™ ๐™›๐™ช๐™ก ๐™๐™๐™ช๐™ง๐™จ๐™™๐™–๐™ฎ." With a playful wink, Andrea told the group, "I figured we could all use a little more potassium." ย

Although it was a simple gesture, it carried a significant message about her care and appreciation for her team.ย

Molly, a registered nurse on the unit, expressed just how much this gesture meant to her.ย

โ€œAndrea is always finding ways to make us feel valued. It may seem small, but these moments remind us that we're not just a team โ€“ we're a family. I appreciate her more than she knows." ย

For Andrea, celebrating a day of the week is more than just a tradition; it's a way to pause, express gratitude, and remind her staff of how vital they are to both their patients and to one another.
