Aging comes with a variety of life changes and challenges. CoxHealth, however, will soon offer an opportunity for locals to connect with resources to help with those life transitions at Senior Fest.

Scheduled for May 16, Senior Fest not only provides information: It’s also a chance for some free health assessments. Bone density scans, vein screenings, blood pressure checks, spinal screenings and functional balance and strength assessments will be conducted – all at no cost for attendees.

All told, nearly 30 local organizations will offer tips and information about senior-specific services. Additionally, snacks, giveaways and door prizes – including to attractions in Branson – are part of the event, which will be held at the Republic Community Center (711 E. Miller Rd., Republic) from 1 to 3 p.m.

No registration is required. For more information, please call 417-269-2428.
