Physician Job Description
CoxHealth is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist who is BE/BC in Cardiology/Cardiovascular Disease Medicine, and BE/BC in Interventional Cardiology, or in process of completing 12-month fellowship training in interventional cardiology to provide inpatient support at Cox Medical Center Branson. Provide interventional and general cardiology services to patients with cardiovascular related ailments, including stable coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndromes, cardiogenic shock and congestive heart failure, peripheral vascular and structural heart disease, etc. Be responsible for monitoring patients’ conditions and progress, determining and evaluating appropriate treatments, and explaining procedures and discussing test results and treatment plans with patients.
Must have M.D., D.O. or foreign degree equivalent. Must have or be eligible for Missouri medical license and must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiology/Cardiovascular Disease Medicine, and Board Eligible/Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology, or be in process of completing 12-month fellowship training in interventional cardiology.
