Selection Process

After you apply, we'll contact you by email within four business days to let you know if you're eligible for our residency program.

If you're eligible, we'll schedule an interview with our director of Nursing.

Education Verification

All offers are contingent on the Missouri Board of Nursing verifying your education, which makes you eligible to sit for the NCLEX.

Your college must send transcripts to a credentialing agency once your degree is conferred. We'll pay for this process and any fees required to expedite it.

CoxHealth will arrange for your travel to Missouri once credentialing is complete.

You may still travel to Missouri and start work at CoxHealth prior to beginning your Residency. In this scenario, you'll work at the Nurse Assistant II level.

NCLEX

We'll provide study opportunities to help you prepare for the NCLEX.

You'll be eligible for a sign-on bonus of $2,000 that will more than cover the cost of your NCLEX. The remainder of the bonus will be paid, less the NCLEX fee, once you pass your exam.

Relocation

We'll provide relocation assistance of $1,500, and we will pay for your airfare, booked within a travel window you provide.

Next Steps

Interested? Here's what you can expect:

First, submit your application. If you're qualified, we'll contact you for an interview. Most offers are extended the same day as the interview.

All offers are contingent, based on acceptable results of the pre-screening process.
